Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI scans following physician orders and safety protocols
Position patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
Operate and maintain MRI equipment, troubleshooting as needed
Review images for diagnostic quality and consult with radiologists
Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control standards
Collaborate with a dynamic healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in MRI (MR) required
Active Michigan state license or willingness to obtain
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Minimum 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and adapt to new environments

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of MRI safety, including screening and contrast administration
Proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and pathology recognition
Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records
Excellent problem-solving and technical troubleshooting abilities
Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care
