ICU RN (NOC) Traveler

Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 07-27-2026

End Date: 04-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, NOC (overnight), 12-hour shifts, typically 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (including rotating weekends as needed)

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality critical care to ICU patients
Monitor and assess patient vitals, titrate medications, and respond to emergencies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Operate advanced life support equipment and interpret cardiac rhythms
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or compact state)
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
DCI/BVP certification preferred
Nursys verification required
Willingness to complete all onboarding health and competency requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
Expertise in hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and code response
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Adaptability to work varying shifts and patient assignments
