Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend, 36 hours guaranteed

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patient care needs and develop personalized care plans with an interdisciplinary team
Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians for behavioral health patients
Educate patients and families on discharge planning and aftercare
Maintain a safe, secure environment for patients and staff
Document and report all necessary information per policies and procedures
Monitor patient safety and report potential risks to physicians
Function as a clinical leader by delegating tasks and promoting staff development

Qualifications

2+ years of behavioral health experience required
Pediatric experience required
Active Michigan RN license required
Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
Experience in behavioral health and pediatric settings
Ability to lead and delegate in a team environment
Knowledge of patient care protocols and standards
