Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 3 12-hour Night shifts per week plus 2 Call shifts; holidays and on-call required; coverage in Kremmling, Granby, and Fraser, CO

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
Utilize accepted standards and protocols for ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ATLS
Achieve positive patient outcomes through implementation of clinical pathways
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality emergency care
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment in a Level IV Trauma Center

Qualifications

2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
Must hold current, active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Must be willing to work holidays and on-call shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and care planning
Skilled in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Familiarity with Point Click EMR system
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rural healthcare setting
