Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hours per Week: 32
Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Direct and administer physical therapy treatments under supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Restore patient functioning and prevent disability after injury or illness
- Help patients achieve maximum performance and adapt to their abilities
- Participate in operational and performance improvement activities
- Ensure infection control and safety compliance in all treatments
- Care for diverse patient populations from infants to geriatrics
Qualifications
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program (Associate's degree)
- Active Alaska PTA license or FSBPT paperwork in process
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: 1 year of experience, but new grads welcome to apply
Education
- Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy modalities and treatment techniques
- Patient care and communication skills
- BLS/BCLS certification
- Alaska PTA license requirements
- Ability to work with all age groups
