Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hours), includes weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care on a 14-bed med-surg unit
Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure compliance with protocols

Qualifications

Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state
Minimum of 1 year of recent med-surg nursing experience
Current ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in med-surgical nursing, including post-op care and chronic disease management
Proficiency in ACLS and BLS life support techniques
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with electronic health records and patient safety standards
