Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical observation unit
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort
Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered LVN license in California (or compact license if applicable)
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1 year of recent LVN experience in an acute care or medical setting
Ability to work night shifts and commit to a full 28-week contract
Excellent attendance and reliability - essential for this per diem-to-contract role

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., Epic or similar)
Effective communication and teamwork abilities
Compassionate patient-centered care approach
