Roles & Responsibilities

Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Prepare and organize dental instruments and materials
Take and develop dental x-rays
Provide patient education and post-operative instructions
Maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment
Manage patient records and schedule follow-up appointments

Qualifications

Certified or registered Dental Assistant in Maryland (or willing to obtain)
CPR certification required
Previous experience in a dental office preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
Proficient in dental software and record-keeping
Excellent patient care skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
