Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as scheduled), Nights, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and behavioral changes
Support the nursing team with admissions, transfers and routine tasks
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families and the care team

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in New Mexico
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Comfort and ability to work overnight 12.5-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) as scheduled
Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to resident care

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Care for activities of daily living (ADLs) and safe patient transfers
Basic charting and documentation practices
Infection control and safe care procedures
Good time management and ability to work in a fast-paced rehab setting
Clear, respectful communication with residents and clinical teams
