Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
• Support nursing staff with safe patient transfers and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
• Communicate compassionately with patients and families to promote dignity and comfort
• Document care provided in a timely and professional manner
• Observe and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing team

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Active CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to pass background check and required health screenings / immunizations
• Comfortable performing patient transfers and physical care duties
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads with certification are welcome

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• State-approved CNA training program completion and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with activities of daily living (ADLs) and basic patient care
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and standard precaution practices
• Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
• Basic charting and electronic health record familiarity
• Compassionate bedside manner and effective teamwork
