Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and safe positioning
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
• Support a safe, clean environment by following infection-control and safety protocols
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and support staff to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Comfortable working the posted day shift schedule, including weekends
• Able to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings
• Comfortable in a travel/contract role and adaptable to new facility processes

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care skills and hands-on experience with ADLs
• Competent with taking vital signs and basic clinical observations
• Good documentation and charting practices
• Clear, compassionate communication and teamwork
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
