Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on evening shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the electronic health record
• Perform timely assessments and communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team
• Support patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort while promoting dignity and independence
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to ensure safe, effective care transitions
• Advocate for patients and families, offering clear explanations and emotional support

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — must be active or eligible for New Hampshire licensure prior to assignment
• Travel LPN experience preferred; open to confident LPNs comfortable in contract settings
• Ability to work the assigned evening shift schedule (Sunday–Wednesday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM)
• Willingness to complete facility credentialing, background check, and drug screen as required
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN) / Vocational Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
• Comfortable with electronic health record (EHR) charting and documentation
• Ability to perform routine assessments and escalate concerns appropriately
• Strong patient-centered care approach and solid teamwork skills
• Basic life support (BLS) and familiarity with standard infection control practices
