Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, following established protocols
Assist nursing staff with treatments and follow care plans carefully
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Promote a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families and the care team
Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Active CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Comfortable working 12.5-hour day shifts including weekends
Demonstrated ability to provide safe patient handling and personal care
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Local candidate (site notes indicate local-only assignment)

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, ADLs and basic bedside care
Accurate vital signs measurement and reporting
Basic charting and documentation practices
Infection prevention and control procedures
Safe patient transfer techniques
Ability to work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams
