Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily comfort
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity
Measure, record, and report vital signs and observations accurately
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes to the care team
Support safe patient transfers and follow infection prevention best practices
Build trusting relationships with patients and families — be the friendly face they rely on (cape optional)

Qualifications

CNA certification (required) — you know your scope and you own it
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain quickly
Ability to work Monday–Wednesday daytime schedule reliably
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and safe lifting/transfer techniques
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED
Current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, ADLs, and bedside care expertise
Accurate vital signs measurement and clinical observation
Basic charting and documentation practices (electronic or paper)
Infection prevention and safe patient handling
Effective verbal communication with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Time management and prioritization in a busy clinical setting
