Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using safe patient handling techniques
• Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes in condition
• Support activities of daily living while preserving resident dignity and comfort
• Communicate clearly with the care team and document resident care thoroughly
• Participate in shift handoffs and collaborate to maintain continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current LNA or T-LNA certification (VT or NH) as indicated in the job posting
• Willingness to work every other weekend and some holidays
• Comfort working day shifts from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Ability to travel and work a 10-week contract assignment
• Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset

Education

• Completion of an approved LNA training program
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL support, safe transfers
• Resident-centered care and dignity-preserving practices
• Accurate documentation and clear communication with nursing staff
• Infection control and standard precaution knowledge
• Reliable time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
