Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy evaluation and treatment to achieve measurable patient outcomes
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust them based on patient progress
• Document patient status, interventions and outcomes accurately in the medical record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe functional strategies
• Monitor and report clinical changes to ensure patient safety and continuity of care

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous experience in medical/acute care or outpatient settings preferred
• Strong clinical reasoning, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM for the duration of the assignment

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in musculoskeletal and functional mobility assessment
• Proficient with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy and modalities
• Knowledgeable in safe patient handling and fall prevention strategies
• Comfortable using electronic health records for documentation
• Ability to educate and motivate patients and caregivers
• Team-oriented with strong interdisciplinary communication
