Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on and evidence-based interventions to improve patient mobility and function
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans to achieve measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehab team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home programs to support recovery
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the facility EMR and follow regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in North Carolina or eligible to obtain state licensure
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
• Experience providing patient-centered physical therapy in an outpatient or rehab setting preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a patient-first mindset
• Ability to manage varied caseloads and document care clearly

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred, or Bachelor's/Master's in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, gait training, and functional mobility
• Familiarity with outcomes measurement and progress tracking
• Proficient with clinical documentation and basic electronic medical records
• Good clinical reasoning, time management, and patient education abilities
• Ability to adapt interventions for a diverse patient population
