Location: Uniontown, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Assist residents with mobility, transfers and safe ambulation
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean and dignified environment for residents
Support nursing team with timely charting and clear communication
Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Completion of an approved CNA program or equivalent training
Comfortable assisting with ADLs and basic patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Willingness to work per diem shifts and adapt to scheduling needs

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic nursing care and personal care techniques
Taking and documenting vital signs
Infection prevention and safety practices
Resident rights, dignity and person-centered care principles
Clear verbal communication and teamwork
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus
