Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility to preserve dignity and comfort
Monitor and report changes in patient condition, helping the clinical team respond quickly
Measure and record vital signs accurately and consistently
Provide compassionate support and reassurance to patients and families during their stay
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
Document care and observations clearly in patient records to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain
Valid immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Background check and drug screening clearance
Comfortable working overnight shifts and able to handle physical requirements of the role
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care skills and familiarity with activities of daily living
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Basic charting and documentation skills
Infection prevention and control practices
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Teamwork, reliability, and the ability to follow care plans
