Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts across all days of the week (includes weekends): 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM; 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM. Rotating day/night coverage with required weekend rotation.

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images in an inpatient setting
• Perform fluoroscopic procedures as needed while adhering to safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and care teams to prioritize patient needs in a Level II trauma facility
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in EPIC EMR
• Ensure radiation safety and equipment quality assurance checks are completed
• Provide compassionate patient care, including positioning, monitoring, and post-procedure instructions

Qualifications

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California
• ARRT certification required
• Valid Fluoroscopy permit
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 2 years of CT scanning experience
• EPIC EMR experience
• Prior successful completion of traveler assignments required
• Experience with GE CT scanners preferred

Education

• Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT scanning techniques and advanced imaging protocols
• Skilled in fluoroscopy operation and radiation safety practices
• Comfortable using EPIC EMR for charting and image documentation
• Familiarity with GE scanner platforms preferred
• Strong patient care, communication, and trauma-informed skills
• Able to work confidently in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment
