Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on the MST unit during overnight shifts
Monitor patients closely, interpret telemetry data, and respond to acute changes
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure seamless patient care
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Educate patients and families with clear, empathetic communication
Participate in shift handoffs and maintain thorough, timely charting

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Current BLS certification; ACLS/other certifications a plus
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour style shifts and managing telemetry patients
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing best practices
Patient assessment and triage for acute changes
Medication administration and IV therapy
Electronic medical record documentation
Team-based communication and effective bedside manner
