Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
Assist nursing staff with mobility, safe transfers, and positioning
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care and communicate important changes to the RN and care team
Support patients and families with dignity, respect, and clear communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in California
CPR/BLS certification preferred
Current state nursing assistant registry listing or equivalent
Ability to work night shifts and flexible per-diem assignments
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
Previous experience in long-term care, acute care, or similar setting preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, ADLs, and bedside care
Taking and recording vital signs and basic assessments
Infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic health records
Safe patient transfers and mobility assistance
Observation, reporting, and effective communication with the care team
