Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients — help with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes promptly to the nursing team
• Assist nurses with treatments and procedures as directed
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Communicate clearly and kindly with patients and family members to support comfort and understanding
• Document care accurately and timely in patient records to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and handling patient transfers
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Previous CNA experience preferred but caring attitude and reliability are a must

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals and ADL assistance
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control and safe patient handling
• Clear clinical communication and teamwork
• Time management and adaptability in fast-paced settings
• Familiarity with electronic charting or willingness to learn
