Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care and support daily needs
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
• Document care in the patient record clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate respectfully and effectively with patients, families, and staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (California)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background and health screenings as required
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Previous experience as a CNA preferred, especially in long-term care or acute settings

Education

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient safety and infection control principles
• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient transfers
• Comfortable taking and documenting vital signs and observations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records or ability to learn EMR quickly
• Good time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
• Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
