Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered telemetry nursing care on assigned shifts
• Continuously monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to changes
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required
• Telemetry experience — comfortable monitoring cardiac patients and interpreting rhythms
• Current BLS required; ACLS preferred or as required by the facility
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills; patient advocacy mindset
• Per diem availability and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring systems and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Familiarity with hospital documentation systems and electronic medical records
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient education and discharge planning skills
