Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned shift
Perform thorough assessments and document findings clearly and promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely, following protocols
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate, timely charting and ensure continuity between shifts
Respond to urgent situations calmly and escalate appropriately

Qualifications

Current, active RN license in good standing (state-specific licensure required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS/PALS as required by site
Per diem flexibility and ability to work 12-hour day shifts
Current immunizations and ability to pass background/credential checks
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment and care planning
Comfortable with medication administration and documentation systems
Familiarity with infection control and safety standards
Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and care teams
Good electronic medical record (EMR) navigation and charting habits
