Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with daily living activities
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility with dignity
• Measure and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and staff
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the care team
• Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies to ensure a safe environment
• Build rapport with residents and families to enhance patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Valid CNA certification (active) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
• Ability to pass required background check and drug screen
• Basic CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Reliable transportation and a professional, compassionate attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Graduation from an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on patient care and ADL assistance
• Basic vital sign assessment and documentation
• Infection control best practices and safety awareness
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
• Comfortable working in long-term care or skilled nursing environments
