Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (overnight); specific days vary

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
Accurately document care, observations, and resident needs in charts
Collaborate with nurses and rehab staff at Bear Canyon Rhb Ctr to support resident recovery
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Support mealtime, mobility and therapeutic activities to enhance quality of life

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required)
Comfortable and experienced with overnight/night shift work
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Willingness to follow facility policies and complete onboarding requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs (activities of daily living)
Skill in safe patient transfers and use of assistive equipment
Ability to observe, document and escalate changes in resident condition
Good time management and prioritization during busy shift periods
Familiarity with infection control best practices and resident safety
