Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Overnight / Night shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient observations
Communicate changes in condition to nursing staff and document in charts
Support safe mobility, fall prevention, and proper transfer techniques
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant)
Active authorization to practice in New Mexico (as required)
CPR/BLS certification (required or preferred depending on facility)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but motivated new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and comfort measures
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance
Infection control and hygiene best practices
Familiarity with electronic health records and charting
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and escalate concerns
