Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care for residents including assistance with activities of daily living
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident condition accurately and promptly
- Support safe transfers, mobility and fall prevention to keep residents secure
- Communicate clearly with nurses, families and the care team to advocate for resident needs
- Assist with feeding, grooming and toileting while maintaining dignity and respect
- Help create a welcoming, comfortable environment that fosters recovery and well-being
Qualifications
- Current LNA certification (Licensed Nursing Assistant) required
- Local candidates only; reliable transportation required as noted in the job details
- Willingness to work evenings (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and every other weekend
- Ability to pass facility background checks and comply with facility policies
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; LNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in basic patient care and safe transfer techniques
- Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing clinical changes
- Strong communication skills for teamwork and resident advocacy
- Knowledge of infection control best practices and resident safety
- Basic documentation skills; accuracy and attention to detail
