Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance to residents with dignity and respect
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility to keep residents comfortable and safe
• Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff to ensure timely care
• Support mealtime assistance and safe feeding practices, including careful documentation
• Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans and promote positive outcomes
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable assisting residents with personal care and mobility; strong attention to safety
• Compassionate communicator with good teamwork skills
• Previous CNA experience preferred but enthusiastic, newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care principles and resident rights
• Ability to follow written care plans and complete accurate documentation
• Basic infection control practices and proper use of PPE
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to calm and reassure residents
• Time management skills to balance resident needs during a shift
