Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 2:00 PM - 10:15 PM, Evening shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, grooming, bathing, and toileting with respect and dignity
Measure and record vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
Document care accurately and maintain clear communication with nursing staff and supervisors
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the care team to support individualized care plans and positive resident outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Comfortable working evening per diem shifts (2:00 PM - 10:15 PM)
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to provide hands-on resident care with compassion and respect
Willingness to complete required facility onboarding, background checks, and health screenings

Education

Completion of an approved CNA program
High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamentals of resident care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safe patient handling principles
Good observational skills to notice changes in resident condition
Time management and ability to prioritize resident needs
Friendly interpersonal skills for positive resident and family interactions
