Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and support daily needs
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in line with policy
• Assess and monitor patient condition, documenting changes clearly and promptly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate effective care plans
• Educate patients and families on care instructions, safety, and recovery goals
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the facility electronic record system
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and facility protocols

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license (must be eligible to practice in New Mexico)
• BLS/CPR certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications a plus
• Previous clinical nursing experience preferred; per diem or long-term care experience welcomed
• Ability to pass required background checks and pre-employment screenings
• Strong communication skills, teamwork orientation, and reliability for per diem shifts

Education

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program for LPN
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or BSN for RN applicants

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and clinical monitoring skills
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic health records and timely charting
• Good critical thinking, prioritization, and time management
• Clear communication with patients, families, and the care team
