Location: Uniontown, Pennsylvania

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC (night shift; days vary)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist patients with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene
Support nursing team with accurate documentation and timely communication
Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for patients and visitors
Build rapport with patients and families, advocating for patient comfort and dignity

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Current/state-required licensure to practice as a CNA in Pennsylvania
High school diploma or GED preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Ability to work night shifts and flexible per diem schedules
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and safety practices
Assisting with ADLs and basic hygiene
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Infection control and proper hand hygiene
Basic documentation and charting skills
Teamwork, communication, and time management in a clinical setting
