Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patient status throughout the overnight shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team in a timely manner
• Support safe patient transitions and assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Maintain accurate, legible clinical documentation and follow care plans
• Participate in unit safety practices, infection control, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Valid LPN or RN license in good standing (LPN or RN credentials required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Prior clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication skills, and a team-player mindset
• Ability to complete required facility onboarding and mandatory trainings

Education

• LPN: Vocational nursing diploma or certificate (or equivalent)
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamental nursing skills for medication administration and patient assessment
• Proficient charting and documentation practices
• Knowledge of infection control, safety protocols, and patient mobility techniques
• Ability to prioritize care during busy overnight periods
• Comfort working independently while collaborating with the care team
