Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in accordance with facility policies
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs, reporting changes promptly
• Document patient care, observations, and interventions in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals
• Assist with safe patient transfers and daily living activities as needed
• Support a positive patient and family experience through clear communication and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (New Mexico license preferred or eligible)
• Comfortable working per-diem/as-needed shifts including long day coverage
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per facility requirements or willingness to obtain
• Ability to complete facility onboarding, health screenings, and standard background checks

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong fundamentals in medication administration and patient care
• Clinical assessment and basic wound care skills
• Accurate charting and documentation practices
• Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
• Time management and adaptability for variable per-diem assignments
