Shift Type: 12hr Nights, every other weekend, first to float

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to a diverse ER population from peds to cardiac and trauma patients
Manage 1:3-4 patient ratios with acuity-based assignments in a bustling Level III trauma center
Perform EKGs, interpret dysrhythmias, and troubleshoot respiratory equipment like a pro
Staff triage areas and fast track while collaborating with on-site MDs, midlevels, and support teams
Care for holds and general ER cases including STEMIs, strokes, and respiratory issues with confidence

Qualifications

Active RN license ready to submit
2 years of ER experience, welcoming first-time travelers too
Must pass Advanced Dysrhythmia test with 83% on up to three tries before starting

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in common ER drips like pressors and sedation
Skilled at reading and interpreting your own strips without monitor techs
Comfortable with peds, cardiac, STEMI, stroke, and trauma care
Experienced in triage, fast track, and intermixed holds
