Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at Genesis - West Region
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
Maintain safety and infection-control standards while delivering care
Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
Accurately complete required clinical documentation and shift handoffs

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential (as applicable)
Current state nursing license in good standing
Ability to work per diem shifts, including the 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift
Strong communication, organization, and patient advocacy skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain

Knowledge & Skills

Solid clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
Medication administration and IV/IM injection knowledge where applicable
Comfortable with patient documentation and electronic medical records
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
