Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at Genesis - West Region
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols
- Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care
- Maintain safety and infection-control standards while delivering care
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and discharge planning
- Accurately complete required clinical documentation and shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential (as applicable)
- Current state nursing license in good standing
- Ability to work per diem shifts, including the 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM day shift
- Strong communication, organization, and patient advocacy skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or able to obtain
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and basic nursing skills
- Medication administration and IV/IM injection knowledge where applicable
- Comfortable with patient documentation and electronic medical records
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
