Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per-diem (days vary / schedule as needed), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, night shift (overnight)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition accurately
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and equipment
Communicate observations and changes to the nursing team promptly
Assist with hygiene, feeding, and comfort measures to promote dignity
Contribute to a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in your state (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or must obtain promptly)
Comfortable working overnight 12+ hour shifts and adapting to per-diem schedules
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Reliable background check and immunizations per facility policy

Education

High school diploma or GED
State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care, bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
Knowledge of vital sign measurement and documentation
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Basic charting and electronic documentation skills
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
