Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition promptly
• Support safe mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate clearly with the care team and family members to coordinate care
• Bring a positive, patient-centered attitude to every shift

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification preferred or eligible for reciprocity)
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain)
• Previous CNA experience preferred but dedicated new CNAs are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and personal care
• Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs and observations
• Familiarity with basic charting and electronic health record documentation
• Knowledge of infection prevention, PPE use, and safe patient handling
• Good judgment, attention to detail, and compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize patient safety
