Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care at Bear Canyon RHB Center
• Perform thorough assessments and document changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families about care, safety and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate records in the facility charting system and follow facility protocols

Qualifications

• Current, active RN or LPN license (Registered Nurse preferred) — must be valid in New Mexico
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable is a plus
• Clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or similar settings preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
• Ability to pass facility background checks and meet onboarding requirements

Education

• Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from an accredited LPN/Vocational Nursing program
• Registered Nurse: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment and clinical documentation
• Proficient in medication administration and safety practices
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting
• Good clinical judgment, prioritization, and time management
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-focused bedside manner
