Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) to promote dignity and comfort
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers using safe body mechanics and equipment
• Support mealtime assistance and monitor intake as directed
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
• Document care provided clearly and promptly in patient charts
• Communicate effectively and kindly with patients, families, and the care team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in the state of Pennsylvania
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills
• Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings a plus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable assisting with activities of daily living and mobility support
• Knowledge of basic patient care, vital signs, and documentation standards
• Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a care team
• Able to follow care plans and directions from licensed nursing staff
• Basic computer or electronic charting skills preferred
