Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, Overnight, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Assist residents with safe mobility and transfers while using proper body mechanics
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Support meal service, feeding assistance, and documentation of intake as needed
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Accurately document care provided and contribute to effective shift handoffs
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to promote resident dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate resident care
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and any required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of resident care fundamentals and activities of daily living
Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
Basic charting and documentation skills
Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a care team
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
