Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as needed), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
Take and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
Provide compassionate, respectful support to residents and their families
Maintain accurate patient records and complete assigned documentation
Help with meal assistance and safe feeding practices as needed
Follow infection control protocols and contribute to a safe care environment
Collaborate with nurses and other care team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Comfortable with physical aspects of patient care and standing/ lifting as needed
Previous long-term care or rehab experience preferred but not required

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of ADLs, basic patient hygiene, and mobility assistance
Ability to take accurate vital signs and observe patient condition
Familiarity with basic charting and documentation practices
Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
Team-oriented mindset and ability to follow care plans
