Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations accurately
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe patient handling to promote independence
• Support mealtime assistance and basic feeding needs with patience and dignity
• Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe patient environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization/security requirements
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and providing hands-on patient care
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED required; completion of a state-approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing care and activities of daily living
• Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety procedures
• Ability to use electronic health records or bedside charting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure
