Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care and assist patients with activities of daily living
• Perform accurate vital signs monitoring and report changes to nursing staff promptly
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Document patient care and observations clearly and timely in the charting system
• Support patient mobility and transfers, using safe body mechanics and equipment
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
• Respect patient dignity, privacy, and individual care preferences at all times

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Valid state authorization to work as a CNA in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain promptly
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs, transfers, and basic patient care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Dependable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic clinical skills: vitals, ADLs, feeding and hygiene assistance
• Familiarity with infection control and patient safety practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Good observational skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
