Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate bedside care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Assess patient conditions and report changes promptly to the care team
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Document patient care, observations, and interventions clearly and timely
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate care plans
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain clinical competencies
• Support a positive patient experience by communicating respectfully with patients and families

Qualifications

• Current LPN license (practical nurse) — NH license preferred or ability to obtain state licensure
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and a patient-centered attitude
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively on a care team

Education

• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program; high school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical nursing skills for medication administration and basic treatments
• Patient assessment and documentation best practices
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate changes appropriately
• Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
• Good time management skills for 12.5-hour shift workflows
