Shift Type: 8.5-hour shift; exact start/end times and days to be determined (Rad Tech)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with attention to detail and patient comfort
Operate and maintain radiographic equipment following safety protocols
Position patients correctly and ensure images meet clinical standards
Follow radiation safety (ALARA) principles and maintain safety records
Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to deliver timely care
Accurately document procedures and update patient records in the EMR

Qualifications

Valid Radiologic Technologist certification (ARRT) or registry-eligible
State licensure for Louisiana or ability to obtain required state licensure
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification
Strong patient-care skills and professional communication
Prior experience in hospital or acute-care radiology preferred

Education

Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with digital radiography systems and imaging workflows
Solid understanding of radiation safety and quality control
Ability to position patients and evaluate image quality effectively
Familiarity with electronic medical records and image archiving systems
Teamwork mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
