Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry
Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplants
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Collaborate with a dedicated Charge Nurse and PCT team to maintain excellent 1:3-4 patient ratios
- Float to other telemetry units when needed, expanding your skills across Neuro Tele and additional step-down areas
- Complete required SIMs Lab training for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes to ensure top-notch sterile technique
- Support patients through non-titrating drips, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapies in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum one year of Level 1 trauma cardiac telemetry experience
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with two attempts allowed
- Must have a valid driver's license for submission verification
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong EKG interpretation and cardiac rhythm recognition
- Proficient with Cerner EMR and bedside PCs
- Competent in sterile technique for Foley insertion and central line care
- Comfortable floating across multiple telemetry units
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
