Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Tele
Location: Prescott, Arizona
Start Date: 05-30-2026
End Date: 08-29-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Self-scheduling available, schedules posted for 4 weeks at a time
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including COVID, respiratory, GI, diabetic, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
- Interpret and sign basic telemetry strips at least once per shift
- Collaborate with remote monitor techs and the interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified, embracing new challenges and growth opportunities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care on a 48-bed MedSurg/Tele unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to read basic telemetry strips
- Experience with general, orthopedic, CVA, and TIA patients preferred
- Cerner experience recommended
Knowledge & Skills
- Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
- MedSurg and post-surgical patient care
- BIPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen management
- Cerner electronic medical records
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
